Spotlight On: Hilary Davis

We have another blog entry! This week we have the lovely Hilary, Hilary is a massive part of our theatre as a board member. Hilary is a Theatre Professional with over 25 years of experience. Working at Oxford School of Drama and Bristol Old Vic as Arts Administrator for the Education and Outreach department, she then went onto run her own Company Myrtle Theatre. She now runs her own holiday let and works part–time in the Sustainable Tourism Department of the National Park and is a Park ambassador. We asked Hilary to tell us a little bit about herself and her involvement in Theatr Brycheiniog.

Spotlight On: Artist & Theatre Designer Harry Pizzey

Designer Harry Pizzey has curated a wonderful installation in our auditorium space, depicting members from all the groups that use the Theatre, as our organisations and their members have been (and are) sorely missed. Harry’s drawings celebrate the wonderful people who make up the activities at Theatr Brycheiniog and we hope you enjoy this environment when you come and visit.

When The Night Fell (part two)

In February we created a short film of a performancefor the Theatre, When The Night Fell - by local celebrated playwright Owen Thomas. When The Night Fell was performed by local actors Louise Collins & Gareth Bale. We would like to thank everyone involved in the performance and making it happen! It was truly incredible to have the energy or creatively on our stage again.

We have another lovely blog post for you! We would like to thank Rosie and Tin for their support, not only are they patrons of Theatr Brycheiniog but they are also regularly involved in many creative projects and classes. We asked them if they would answer some question for us and they were kind enough to give us such interesting and heartwarming responses.
