We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Technician to join the team at Theatr Brycheiniog, a busy and vibrant venue set in the heart of the stunning Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. With a packed programme of theatre, music, dance and community events, no two days are the same!

You’ll bring strong sound engineering skills, along with experience in lighting and stage work, to help deliver top-quality productions and events. Working as part of a small, skilled team, you’ll support everything from live gigs and plays to conferences and screenings — operating sound, lighting, and managing get-ins/outs across our flexible performance spaces.

Develop your skills in a recently refurbished venue with upgraded tech, supporting artists, companies and the local creative community in one of the most beautiful parts of Wales.

Who are we?
Theatr Brycheiniog Café is situated on the basin of the Brecon & Monmouthshire Canal and nestles in the stunning Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. We are open every day and are fast becoming a destination venue for locals and holidaymakers from all over the world to enjoy our locally sourced produce. 

Our Kitchen team is highly respected for their range of home-made cakes and savouries and their ability to adapt to the needs of their customers and an ever-changing market. We are also pretty good at buffets (we served The King & Queen).

Got catering qualifications – that’s great – but not the most important thing!
