Our partner organisations
Our wonderful partner organisations who would normally call Theatr Brycheiniog home have also been busy, below is a selection of what they have been up to and what they have on offer for you to engage in from home. (If we’ve left anything out, or if you know of any new projects that you would like us to feature here, please do get in touch).
The Arts Society / The Brecknock Arts Society
The Arts Society brings people together who are interested in the arts. They host a monthly lecture by an expert lecturer about their specialist knowledge of the arts. You can become a member and attend, here is a list of upcoming monthly lectures.
Katy Sinnadurai BEM teaches group classes Pilates-bases back care online. If you wish to join these sessions you can contact Katy here.
The University of the Third Age (U3A) brings those out of full-time employment together to continue learning and growing their interests. Brecon U3A have continued their weekly lessons through Zoom during the pandemic. If you wish to become a member you can here and to see what’s on see their events here.
Ghost Light Young Performers
A weekly theatre class for ages 5 to 18, teaching a variety of theatre skills. Whilst physical classes aren’t possible, they are running online classes. For more information and contact details see here.
MWDA is a large private dance school that runs weekly professional dance classes. They teach a variety of dance such as ballet, tap, and street dance. Lessons are currently being held online – more information on the classes here. If you wish to join, click here.
