APPOINTMENT OF NEW BOARD MEMBERS

Theatr Brycheiniog is a registered charity and the primary performing arts provider in Powys hosting an ambitious programme of professional and community work.  Under the direction of our new Theatre Director we are embarking on an exciting new phase of development which will include a significant refurbishment programme and investment in a number of new areas of our work.

Opened in April 1997, as the first wholly funded Lottery new build arts organisation in Britain, Theatr Brycheiniog houses a 477 seat auditorium, café & bar, gallery and rehearsal studio and will celebrate its 25th Anniversary in 2022.

Vacancies have arisen on our Board and we are seeking to appoint new, non-executive members prepared to bring and share their high-level experience and their love of the arts.  At this time we would be particularly interested to hear from those whose skills and backgrounds lie in:

Finance, legal issues, community outreach and engagement, the arts and artistic programming.

Good business networks are also valued, though these are not exclusive requirements and should not deter those who feel they have something to offer.  As well as contributing their time and expertise, Board members act as ambassadors in the wider community of Powys, as well as regionally and nationally.  We are looking to appoint committed individuals who will be able to contribute to the sustainable success of our organisation.
