Theatr Brycheiniog - in the heart of the magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park - proudly stands as one of the top performing arts centres in Wales. Attracting over 150,000 visitors a year, Theatr Brycheiniog stages the best productions from companies and performers from Wales, the UK and around the world.

The theatre has recently maintained its position as a revenue-funded client of the Arts Council of Wales. It is not resting on its laurels however, and there are many exciting plans for the future.

Job Opportunity: Two Café Supervisors

In June 2017, Theatr Brycheiniog opened a Pop-Up Café on the quayside outside the theatre – due to its success, it will remain open until December 2017 and in January 2018, the brand new Waterfront Bistro will be opened following a major refit.

We are recruiting two Café Supervisors to help manage the Pop-Up Café and support the catering function across the venue until the refurbishment – for the right candidates, there is the opportunity to support the theatre during an exciting time of its development with potential to join the Bistro team.

We are looking for two candidates with exceptional customer service skills with experience in the catering and hospitality industries. Professional with exceptional eye for detail, the supervisors will be the welcoming face of Theatr Brycheiniog working with a broad range of users from visitors, patrons of the theatre, hirers as well as arts professionals and external stakeholders.

Rate of pay is £8.00 per hour. Each post is fixed term for six months for 20hrs per week - there is the opportunity to cover extra paid hours up to a total of 37.5hrs per week per role. Working is across seven days, to include evenings and weekends as required.
