The Taff Trail
The Taff Trail starts in Brecon and ends in Cardiff Bay. It is 55 miles long, and begins at the canal basin. If you walk out to the canal from us, you will start to see black and yellow route markers, which are situated along the route.
What is the closest village along the canal?
There is a pub in Pencelli although it isn’t always open. From there, Talybont is the first village where you could stop and have a drink / snack at a canal side pub
Where can I find information about the canal for walkers or cyclers?
The Tourist Information Centre, Cattle Market car park, Brecon, is the best place to go for information about the canal route, although we'll of course do our best to help you.
What kind of food and drinks service do you offer?
The Waterfront Pop-up Café is open throughout the day. It offers a wide variety of food, freshly cooked to order. From light bites, to warming dishes, along with mouth watering cakes and coffee.
The fully licensed bar and café is nestled on the waterfront, with the famous canal providing a stunning location right in the heart of Brecon.
Do we allow dogs?
Yes we allow dogs on leads in our public areas, but only guide dogs are allowed in our performance spaces .
What are our opening times?
We are open seven days a week, 10am - 6pm (later on performance nights).
What do we use our donations bucket for?
The proceeds will be going towards the planned refurbishment of our venue in 2018.
